Hi, I'm Dawn. 👋🏾

I am a versatile individual who wears many hats - I am a thinker, designer, doer, manager, leader, mentor, team player, and advocate for smart ideas. I am always eager to learn new things, and I am usually found engaging in interesting conversations at parties, often near the guacamole.

I was born in Washington, D.C., and left for the big city to attend college, where I started my creative journey at Pratt Institute, continued at FIT, and received double degrees in Graphic Design & Advertising Design.

I believe that empathy is the key to great design, and with this in mind, I enrolled in the User Experience Design Immersive program at General Assembly. I learned new skills in this program, including User Research, Interviewing, Prototyping, and User Testing.

I am a designer, and I know for a fact that design can change the world. It is crucial to carefully choose the objects we design as they hold great importance. We must create products that enhance our experiences and make our lives easier. It's high time we reduced the number of objects and focused on creating only the best and most effective ones.

I love to browse Pinterest boards, watching DIY videos (they're addictive!), cheering for the Knicks and the Washington Commanders, watching documentaries, spending time with my pup, and most importantly, make a positive difference in the world.
